Directions to RMC by Bus

Capital Area Transit (CAT) runs buses past Raleigh Mennonite on Sundays, so it is possible to get to our Sunday worship service using public transportion from locations within the Raleigh City limits.

  • The #31 bus goes from Moore Square Transit Center in Downtown Raleigh and stops near Hope Elementary / Building Together Ministries at the corner of Marshall and Poplar Streets. Ask the driver to let you off at this stop. The building will be on the right, as the bus travels.  On Sunday the buses leave Moore Square every hour on the hour, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. They leave their outer destinations at 25 or 30 minutes past the hour from 8:25 a.m. to 7:25 p.m. and arrive at Moore Square Transit Center just before the hour in time to connect with all the leaving buses.
  • When leaving our meeting place, the #31 bus returns to Moore Square from the stop across Poplar Street, near Marshall St.; it is scheduled to leave at 8 minutes before each hour.
  • If you take the #31 bus from the east side of Raleigh, get off at Poplar and Blount Streets.
  • If you take the #1 bus, Capital Boulevard, get off at Wake Forest and Poplar and walk east (right from the direction the bus goes, if you take the bus from North Raleigh) two blocks to the corner of Blount and Poplar.

Maps are available for CAT's Sunday and weekday service. Complete information about Raleigh's bus system is available on the CAT website. You can also use the Gotriangle trip planner; for a destination use "1110 N Blount", even though the actual address is 1116 N Blount.
