On August 8, RMC will hold its annual "Mennonites on the Loose" Sunday. That means we will not meet together for worship that Sunday; there will be no service at RMC. Instead, we encourage everyone to attend another church that week. We'll be sending out some suggested churches and some groups that you can join with, or you may want to attend church with a neighbor or friend that Sunday.

This is not about recruiting new members or stealing ideas, and it's also not about sleeping in that Sunday! It is simply a time to stretch ourselves, worship with our brothers and sisters from another community, and hopefully meet God in a different way. There will be time scheduled during the August 15 worship service to share our varied experiences while we were out there "running loose".
